    it wasn't bad luck at all, it turned out to be a bad decision paying cash for 5 trucks and cutting yourself short of operating capital, luck had nothing to do with it.

    some people dont believe in going to a bank and getting wound up in debt

    sometimes its a win, sometimes not

    just like getting into debt with a bank is sometimes a win, sometimes not

    i prefer not to deal with banks or credit, if i cant afford it, i wont buy it

    I just think when people succeed they tend to look back and highlight the decisions that got them there. Conversely, when people fail they look back and remember the mistakes. IMO, we all make mistakes as well as good decisions. Sometimes we get away with the mistakes, and sometimes the good decisions don't pan out. That's the element of luck.

    I used to be more optimistic and think that every good decision and hard work would always pay off, but I just don't have data to support that. I think you just have to do your best, try not to be afraid of failure, and enjoy the experience. Because in the end, there ain't no guarantees.
