Most any bank would hold that com data check for 3 business days as well cause most of them have no clue and have never even seen one. I know that's how it used to be done. My step dad use to get paid that way in the 80's and mom would write large com data checks to deposit in the bank but now days managers would be involved and they dang sure wouldn't release the funds till it was returned to them valid lol...
but it could be done most any pilot flying j or ta/Petro will have com data checks on hand to get one from them.

I use Schools Credit Union. If you go in to the branch they will deposit it with out a hold.
The reason is, they gave to call and get an authorization number to put on the check. That freezes the funds and they are garanteed the funds when processed.

Yea , as soon as I get home I can clean this up, I did ask the bank if they had any or access to comchecks . The lady said , I know what your talking about but no we don't have them

Wells Fargo used to be no hold ... but about a year ago they went to start of next business day ... deposit at 1500, available at 0900 the next day.

You should be keeping a stock of comchecks on your truck ... every time you go into a terminal for anything ask for a supply of comchecks.

No I do have a bunch , the last time I was home I wanted to leave some there just in case , anything ever came up . I could just do a pay advance and have my wife take the check to the bank , but I never left any because I was in a rush when I left ..
