Yep, and it's studs like this that get all the girls, leaving nothing for us regular guys.

 

I was told the same thing even from the boss they didn't think id last this long and out lasted many.Its not hard just extremely boring.I could do this job in my sleep and know exactly where ill be foot by foot.Very boring very routine did I mention very boring.Makes me tired.Then everyday I get a few trailers that won't dolly up no matter how hard I try.I have complained and complained about it.Dispatcher says the ever popular well the other drivers can do it.Sure they can but not without a struggle themselves.But them being guys they won't complain to dispatcher just to other drivers.Plus most of the drivers are big guys.I am not.This is what caused my back to go out of whack,.

 

That is so funny --i had the same trainer back in 1985 LOL for real probably the same lot lizard.

That reminds me, years ago there was a girl that would come into the quarry that drove a dump truck. Well, when she would get out of that truck to get her ticket or to clean the excess stone off her truck, she would be wearing short shorts and a half top. She didn't leave much to the imagination, and she made quite the spectacle of herself.

Eventually, the company that she worked for required the drivers to wear uniforms, and the difference was night and day. Women like that, especially in a male dominated industry, just make it difficult for everyone. There is no need for that.

 

i ran local a few yrs back. i was the only female local driver they had at the time. bout a yr later, they hired another one. she wore shorts and t shirts. her shorts were so short, you couldnt tell she even had them on all you could see was her t shirt...they finally fired her becuz she wouldnt stop wearing them even tho they told her not to.

i have never understood that. if a person has a nice body male or female, and you are proud of it, thats great. but there is a time and a place to show it off. IMO a woman who dresses decently is much more attractive to look it. to me it shows she has respect for herself.

 

To all female drivers and any woman in any industry that reads this. PLEASE, PLEASE, if you find yourself in this situation, CHANGE IT! This is not inteded for the op, particularly. I don't know your exact situation, and I am not judging you. But I think it brings up a good point.

There are women every day that are somewhere working with a man that says or does inappropriate things. They don't want to say anything because they are "new", or they really need their job, or they don't want to make a big deal out of it. But it is a HUGE DEAL.

Sexual harassment is the same if it is in an office or in a truck. If a man harasses you, he must stop or you must report him. So many men do this EVERY SINGLE DAY, because they have done it before and have never been reported. Often, this empowers the offender to continue to do this, and even to push the limits further. The laws against this are VERY STRICT. Companies have entire departments to train people and handle these situations.

I say that this is EVEN MORE important in a situation where you are alone (in a truck) for an extended period of time with a man. AT ALL TIMES, you should feel secure and respected. It is not just yourself that you are protecting, it's ALL WOMEN that you are protecting.

Again, this is not intended particularly for the op.

 

Makes me wish I didn't have my teeth and I had no sense of style. Darn me all to hell for showering every day and shaving!!!! I'll never get the girls!!! Never!

 

Bet she got up hrs before work just to see what shes going to wear for the guys.She deserved to get fired.I don't dress to impress anyone.The guys at work aren't worth impressing.Me and my grubby closes still gets compliments,lol.

 

I have had a few like that but nothing to get alarmed about.I just tell them off and it works.Most the idiots I work with are just plain annoying and its time for me to leave.
