The only drivers I know that arent happy with Prime, are drivers that have never driven for them, look I have no affiliation with them, but they have one of the best pay plans the first year for starter companies.

Ive been out here grindin gears a long time, better than 3 million miles. You ask for help, your not going to find a local gig till you put in a year somewhere. If you have a family, kids wife, well try the oil fields/

Um, I never said anything about a "GREAT PAYING JOB".
It kind of bothers me that I have had to repeat this on every single thread ive made on here but im not trying to get rich.
There are local jobs in my area and I have done my research so I ask that I am not treated like I have no clue.
Im asking for help, why is that treated like such a bad thing?
I dont want to work for prime.
Thank you both for the advice but again it is not advice that helps me reach my goal.

That's good advice. Believe it or not, some people sleep in their car while going to CDL school. It's more common than you may think. Take your shaving gear bag to the school restroom and take a quickie clean up. Just read an article about a guy attending a university that did this.

With Swift, there's no obligation to stay after CDL school. They will bill you for the school later. Take a bag of Ramen Noodles and tough it out with them. As soon as you graduate, go back home and look for local work.

You're asking for advice and when it's offered you're ignoring it and/or turning it down. So why ask? Sounds like you've already got all the answers and you don't need us if your mind is made up.

Look, everyone here started driving for different reasons. Everyone has a different story. But the one thing that doesn't change is just about everyone here has been offered help and advice in the past when they were rookies. You need to accept (within reason) the advice of folks who've been in your shoes in the past. If you don't want it don't ask. I wish you the best of luck in the future but I won't waste any more time trying to help someone who doesn't want the help.

The school that I am going to has housing that is paid for and it is a very good school from what I have learned.
Im just worried about getting there and having food.
Most of the rest is under control.

Nobody is going to help you financially, if that's what you're asking. Not the schools, and not us. I'm sorry you're in that position, but it's your position. You Gotta give some to get some, we all did. Good luck to you

I specifically said that i appriciate advice but i need actual help rather then people telling me what i should do.
I dont have it all figured out, thats why I am asking for help.
I do not want to drive OTR for any company for any reason.
Im trying to be diplomatic here but its almost like people are talking at me and not even trying to understand what I am trying to say or ask.
I really appriciate all of the helpand advice that I have gotten on this forum and it has already gotten me much further in this then I thought I could.
Id rather not "piss anyone off" and I am trying very hard to not do so.

So how can I remove this thread completely?

Actually, I do need some advice.
Can someone tell me how to remove a post?

I wasnt so much asking for money but more along the lines of help like maybe anyone in the area that had mechanical skills or knew of tips for eating while in school etc..
Pretty much exactly what the original post says but if there was a misunderstanding there I apologise.
I wouldnt turn down help financially but I am also not here asking for hand outs or job suggestions, I asked for help.

I reported the thread to the mods as it looks like it violated the TOS anyway, so they'll take care of it. You need to figure this one out on your own because, as I said, none of us are going to help you financially and it's your responsibility to have taken care of all of this.

    mitrucker and TruckDuo Thank this.

And you were given help. You chose not to accept it.
