My dedicated position got eliminated & my previous company offered me an OTR position & I turned it down & we came to the agreement that I should find a different job. I have 8 months exp & 160 hr driving school & saw an ad with a local company I was familiar with that said they "required" 2 years exp. Long story short, I start Monday doing a dedicated run M-F & every other weekend, home every night. Salary position that is very nice. So, even if you don't meet the required experience, give it a shot. Whats the worst that can happen? They say No?

    Well first, Congratulations!
I'm the same way! I just send them my resume, They ask me for my DL Number so they can run my MVR they normally tell me one of two things, Yes We will look at you or No come back when you get more experience!, Good advice here, Thanks for posting!
    Good Luck.
