To see a four wheeler get busted doing something stupid around big trucks.
Really, how often does that happen?
I think this happened in Louisiana as I was heading towards Temple, TX. A car driver on the left was in a hurry to get away from a group of trucks and moved up on the bumper of another car driver, cut over probably a tractor length in front of me, saw the cruiser on the grass and slowed down, forcing me to brake and probably causing an inconvenience to the other driver behind me.
The cruiser just sits there, so I'm thinking "There's no WAY he got away with that."
Well he either radioed or someone must've snitched because two seconds later, here come the big guns weaving through traffic to pull him over. I was like "Yep." as I moved over to the hammer lane to give the cop some space on the shoulder.
I wouldn't be surprised if he got three infractions in one go, tailgating, speeding, and cutting off a tractor trailer.
It warms my heart...

Years ago, I was waiting at a railroad crossing for a train. It was a crossing where you go up a hill, cross the tracks, and then down a hill on the other side. The arms were down, but the train hadn't arrived yet. I was the 4th or 5th vehicle in line. The second vehicle was an Indiana state trooper.
We were waiting for the train, when from the other side, a car comes up the hill goes around the crossing gates, and down our side. I recognized the car and driver as this idiot who lived by my mom, and was always driving recklessly thru the neighborhood. He saw the state cop about the time the reds on the cruiser came on, and pulled him to the side!

That's a nice ticket for going around RR gates. I was riding with a cop in an unmaked car and watched a car do that, their day sucked after they saw us.

Being that I'm in emergency services, I get just as angry as you guys do with stupid drivers (particularly ones who wait to pull over on a blind curve on a hill, or just not at all because I'm inconveniencing them). My partner and I were on our way to a pediatric unconscious one afternoon and as we approached an intersection, I noticed one of our local cops was sitting in the grass at the intersections' unfinished side monitoring traffic. As I'm pulling up to stop and clear traffic before proceeding on a red, this dumb ### kid comes flying up to my right around a car. He stops when he sees me initially, but as I start to proceed he guns it through the intersection, cutting me off and causing me to slam on my brakes. The joy I was overcome with when I saw the cop tear out behind him can't be explained. We saw her later when she came to get our statements and she told us she had written the moron a HUGE ticket for failure to yield and found everything she possibly could wrong with his vehicle for extra fun. This absolutely made my day. Pay attention to emergency vehicles!

Over the years I have been fortunate to witness more than a couple dumb-##### get their due--but the one that always comes to mind was a few years back around the Allentown Pa area--on Rt.22--it was real early and basically nice and quiet--saw a bear coming up the ramp--so i stepped left to let him on--as he quickly accelerated on his way--I came back right--by then the bear had stepped into the hammer lane and was moving along quite nicely(55zone--I was doing about 60--and the bear was probably close to 70+by now)about the time I got back in the right lane a four wheeler came blowin by me like my brakes were locked--I cut the cruise--and waited for the show--#### if the 4 wheeler doesen't come up behind the bear(fully marked car)and commence to flash his high beams as he tailgates the bear as if the bears in his way! I did enjoy making eye contact with the bear a couple miles down the road as he stepped out of his car to have a conversation with this individual--I'm not sure which one of us enjoyed this more--I was clearly laughing and the cop had a delightfully evil grin on his face as he saw me....Priceless!
Big Jay, sidepocket and truckermario Thank this.
