Even LTL has gone to the dumps down south last time I spent two days loading four. I have a load for me in middlesex,pa I need to get but I'm not loading LTLs at $850 to try and make it work.....I can't stand being parked if you see me on the road you won't see me long.....
It's already slowing down for winter!!!

I don't even consider what I do LTL, LTL is what YELLOW does. At least you'll be in a area where there's enough freight it can't be cheap. I believe if we can ride the wave long enough. Some of these guys will start quitting. Too much work ya know. Stick s and Bricks will always be cheap
MackDaddyMark Thanks this. -
Bad and getting worse.
Fuel still cost a lot though.
Finding it hard to get 2 dollars a mile.
Won't run for less than that so I'll sit. -
Hotshot...
have any brokers or any load boards said anything about utility vans coming out of Laredo? A contact of mine at Swift mentioned them to me first, then a LandStar driver, then an Admiral. Everyone's pulling 2 vans on a flat...supposed to pay $2.81 (what one driver told me he was getting).
I don't know where they were going. 2 white vans (look like Sprinter vans, but a different make), and all of them have new tire lassos (shipper supplies them?), load can't be 11000lbs...they're supposed to go 200 loads a week for the next couple years. -

Noon last Monday til noon today = 3,728 miles. I think that's a record for me. We are crazy busy on the west coast.
