    Where in OH does Millis train? Is it the "free" kind of schooling where you have to work for them for a year afterward?

    The Ohio facility is in Trenton. They also have schools in Wisconsin and GA. Total cost of training is 5000. 100 deposit when you are scheduled, 400 due the first day of class, 2000 payed back through $20 weekly payroll deductions, and 2500 forgiven after one full year of employment with Millis. They will also deduct the cost of your hotel during school should you need it.

    That is a quick and dirty run down. You can get a little more info on the program here. Or just give the recruiters a call at 800-937-0880. Ask all the questions you want, they are there to help and are quite easy to talk to.

    I have my own... I asked at the desk if they usually give us double rooms and he said sometimes. Im not going to unpack everything until I know Im staying in this room lol

    Alright. Hopefully we get our own. No offense, but I think I will be spending enough time with the guys in class already. lol. If it is a small group like it sounds it will be shouldn't be a problem I wouldn't think.

    What is the cost of the Hotel room for the 3 weeks? Thanks! Looking at applying soon to either Millis or Roehl, at the moment leaning more towards Millis.

    Hotel comes out at i think 10 a week for a year, i could have the time to pay it off wrong and it may depend on if u had a roommate. I didnt stay at the hotel so going off what i remember from the guys in my class saying.

    Well first day at MTI Trenton is in the books. We only have 3 in our class so looking forward to a lot of practice time.
    So far it is what I expected. Good guys in class, good people at MTI, very down to earth people.

    Day 2 is in the books. Covered some of the basics, HOS and trip planning. One of the drivers wives made sloppy joes and the famous slutty brownies for us so that was very nice of her. To say Bill was excited would be an understatement lol
    Everyone we have met so far, from the drivers to the shop guys, have been easy to talk to and helpful. One driver has stopped both days so far to show us his different beer loads.
    Well tomorrow kicks off another Millis 500 so Im sure we will be grinding some gears lol
