they do haul a lot of steel but also haul a lot of other things too. what you see on the load boards is generally what their trucks don't want. if I was to do flatbed they would be at the top of my list but I prefer bulk.
It's never going to change......

I'll haul pretty much anything if the price is right.

Let me suggest Mercer Transportation- flatbed out of Louisville,Ky.
Won't get rich but won't be lied to. And you pick the loads you want.MackDaddyMark Thanks this. -
LOL. Amazing how they got covered so fast huh? Come on man, the loads didn't exist.
If I wanted you to lower your rate I would do exactly what they just did. Post a bunch of imaginary loads that should pay $1100 and then tell you I got it covered for $700. Then when I had a real load I would call you because "you're my guy" and let you do it for $800 before I post it. -
Now that you say that when they responded back they had two left....LOL!!! I did almost the same load today legal load paid $1,200 stepdeck with 2 sets of ramps that I just happen to have....did a Crain part load back to Houston for $850 and I'm in Houston now drop first thing. This week is starting out nice

For the same broker that offered the $700?
-
Flightline- Ive talked to them before. Only things I dont like is they're trailer program. And working with agents, they have buddies that have been in a long time and at this point I'm getting so far behind the 8 ball that I can't afford the learning curve or the constant sitting.

Ok same direct shipper then?
-
And thats alot of work for a shipper to go through to trick someone
All my direct customers are pretty honest people
And almost all of them would rather work direct with thr trucks
