at this point with those model trucks and engines it isn't luck of the draw. If he had done any homework he would not have been persuaded on how sexy the interior was. This and all of the other forums I visit talk about how bad the 08 and 09 model trucks and especially the cat for those years are. Lesson here is to do your homework, and listen to the advice that people in the know give you. If 1 or 2 are giving you advice that is one thing but if the majority are saying the same thing then you may need to listen to them..... It seems to be a reoccurring theme where people ask for advice(already having mind made up). Don't like the advice then act surprised when they get the results they get..... It's like they are incapable of learning from others mistakes, they have to go out and experience it themselves.

wait, what happened? last i knew his pops loaned him the $5k or whatever to get his truck out of the shop and he was back on the road... what happened since then? i thought i was caught up on this wild ride of a thread
