There not pre EGR 12.7s so you can't call them gliders there EGR trucks

 

I need a Cat house for my 2005. I went to the Cat site and did a search but it sent me to my KW dealer. How do I find a good Cat house near Kingston, ON?

 

Are you sure they are egr? I know Schneider got a few hundred gliders. I would assume avoiding egr was the reason they got gliders. But I could be wrong. I heard a few drivers say those gliders were dependable. Sounds like pre-egr to me.

 

i've seen a used lot full of 05-07 Freightliners in El Paso for $15-18K. they all have 600k+ miles bit still, they can't ALL be junk. well... but hey at least you can test drive them. plus they let you swap put any tires you don't like. or pick any missing accessories off other trucks in the lot. they're nice guys. and the señorita who works in the office is one the most drop dead gorgeous women i've ever laid eyes on, lol. worth the trip just to ogle her

I want to say it was for 2013 that they ordered something like 1000 gliders. I do remember hearing that they are suppose to have the 12.7 non EGR DDECIII. I would guess that they will hold onto those for a while since it does not cost much to maintain those and are relatively problem free along with great MPG especially in a properly spec'd truck that can only run 62 MPH.

 

If there 2013 they won't be on the market until 2018 or so they keep most there truck five years.
