Thanks for the responses all, the truck I'm trading in is an '08, not new. Im just going back one year to same engine but without all the emissions BS the #### government enforced on our equipment to work with.

All you're getting rid of is the DPF.

Thanks for the feed back, so here we go with the ..what should I get "that financing would qualify"...
1st they want no older than '05
2nd no more than 700k miles
    3rd not more than $48k
So given my circumstances and the way I drive I need power on engine, I cant work fully on 435s.. I need a 13 or 18 spd tranny, cant find that matched to isx's..
And KW and Pete's are out of reach under those 3 prequesites so I'm back to freightshaker that can house a standard splitter tranny and that I can get as cheap as possible to make this all work, meanwhile getting full amount for my trade..
Man I've been running headaches for the past 3 days.. like being in pms.. (god bless our women)

I'm getting rid of dpf and all peripherals that work with it, along with the ###### automatic transmission

I have a ISX with a 13 spd. behind it. There are plenty of them out there along with a some 18 spds. if you look hard enough.

Oh. I see. I guess a truck like mine wouldn't do. It's only a 1998 T800 with an M11 that I paid $18,000 cash for that gets 7 mpg pulling 80,000 up and down I-81.

Ok good luck to you driver.

FLATBED, Cetane+ and truckon Thank this.

We have one also. But what's the point? His mind is made up. He wants a CAT because it has more power LOL.

    Everyone gets what they deserve.

There is no luck involved in buying an 08-09 cat. Those engines are not for the faint of heart or light of wallet.

May I ask how much of a loss you're taking on the turn in price (round #s) ?

    Cetane+ Thanks this.
