Is the whole orientation in Green bay so no having to go to Chicago for it? Where in Green Bay do they hold it?

I know the "terminal" is a two room suite at Masterfleet. I'd be surprised if orientation was anywhere else. To be honest, I'm surprised orientation is at Green Bay, if it is held up there.

Yes my orientation was at master fleet and there were only 3 of us which after the 2nd day only 2 of us due to one guy lying on his application. So we did most of are paperwork in the dispatchers office and watched our videos in a different small room. There isn't enough space for more than 10 guys in that room. I was told that this month (March) is the last month of doing orientation here because there trying to cut cost. So the 31st is the last Green Bay class the rest will be Chicago. I got lucky with getting in at the right time.

Hey Ebola, how many live load/unloads and drop/hooks do you average a week?

I would think it would be cheaper for them to hold orientation in Green Bay for the drivers that live in the area. Rather than having to pay for a hotel and transportation to Chicago.

Maybe it's just me but I don't see a guy getting 5 live load/unloads and 5-7 drop/hooks in a week like job advertised. And O yeah, peoplenet sucks. 👎

I'll do 1 to 2 loads a day. It really depends on how freight is rolling that week. Like this time of year, we'll do a lot of deadheading, so I'll do a load a day, but you're talking a 220 mi load with a 220 mi deadhead. In the regular parts of the year, two loads a day is not uncommon. But there are too many variables to mess that average up like slow live loads, loads with strict appointments, or the cannot deliver until tomorrow.

I am home now, later today, I will run to my truck and scan my 'load sheet' of what I did last week to show you what a typical week looks like.
