J&R schugel, reasons to avoid

•drive cams (facing in & out)
•Low miles otr and regional
•barebones equipment
•a really convoluted and confusing bonus program
•too focused on hiring and the merger with super service LLC to concern themselves with their current drivers
•some really bad, but also some really good dms
•insulting and abusive regional manager for reefer fleet
•long wait times at customers, and not willing to call to see if they'll speed it up
•speed goverened at 65
•dont like it wen u go into shop
•dont like to replace non dot legal tires
• runs super singles on all trucks and trailers
•doesnt provide chains in winter (you will run to ca and Wyoming)
•doesnt pay for cat scales, but will reimburse you later if you provide a receipt.
• has a very restrictive toll policy
•pays HHG miles (zipcode to zipcode) u'll lose about 75-200 miles per trip
•no truck washes allowed except at terminals of which there are only 3 that provide it.
•sattelite tv and radio is a joke, there's a 2 year wait-list if ur truck isn't already equipped which 75% of the trucks aren't.
•hometime is a joke, they won't get you out of the house quickly if you live in eastern NC, it takes hours past ur availability time to get a load
•late hours for delivery (3am, 11pm, 1am, etc)
•doesnt take driver feedback into consideration
•otr out 2 months I got average of 1900 miles a week.
•you have to pay for your inverter $350
•Fuel policy is also stupid.

I'm strict in my belief that no1 has authority over me enough to affect how I live. I will do what I want when want how I want to do it. So long as it's within my rights
