That makes sense. They get portrayed as the good guy in the media while playing corporate raider. About par for the course in the 2020s.

I agree with that statement , my 2022 colorado with 36.000miles had to go in for warranty work . i had what i thought was a wheel bearing noise , radio doesn’t work I get no am/ fm stations and the end of my transmission the tail shaft was leaking . As of now still have no AM/FM stations and the outside vendor who GM uses has no idea when they will have the parts
That wheel bearing sound i thought i heard was actually in the rear end . The gears aren’t aligned correctly and gm had to foot the bill on a complete new rebuild . I got all new rear end gears , they fixed the transmission leak and installed 2 new rear hubs . All this at 36k miles , thank god i got it in before my 60k warranty expired. This will be my last GM every single GM i’ve owned has been a pos -
But does the radio work now?mjd4277, nikmirbre and LtlAnonymous Thank this.

I have a 2021 GMC Canyon and just hit 63500 miles on it. At 63.000 miles the front differential started leaking out of both gaskets, drivers side and passenger side. Drivers side cv axle shaft also went out. Of course 3,000 miles over warranty. $1035 later I had it fixed. But I do still really like the pickup

No i called the dealership last month who called the vendor who supplies the radio parts . I need a new antenna and transmitter and the vendor still doesn’t have the parts and no idea when they will . I’ve been using iheart radio which is a free app on my iphone for radio
The sirius xm radio is the only thing that does work but i don’t feel i should have to keep paying for that just because i can’t get Am/fm . iheart has pretty much everything i listen to anyways -
It's funny, I have two 2008 Saabs, 155k miles each. They were built completely by GM and are extremely reliable. I guess mid 2000's was GM's peak

I like the truck it’s the perfect size for me , i don’t need a big full size truck to drive back in forth to work .i don’t haul a whole lot and it can tow 7700 lbs which is more then enough. Towed my polaris rzr just fine . I just hate who makes it being GM , I wanted a tacoma but even the base 4x4 was out of my price range at $45k before taxes and what not . plus i bought during covid so not many new vehicles were available and dealers weren’t willing to negotiate at all .Rugerfan Thanks this.

I got my 21 canyon elevation 4x4 for under 35k in November of 2020. Wasn’t a terrible deal at the time.

I used F250s, personally, and in my business, for many years. It happened gradually but every year the initial quality was a little less and the price was a whole lot more.
I thought maybe I was just being paranoid so I had our IT person make up a spread sheet over the last ten years listing operating costs and percentage of time unavailable due to shop time.
I was right.
The last time I needed a new pickup I bought a Tundra, just to see how they were. That was over a year ago and it hasn't given me any problems. I didn't get a nice calendar from the Ford dealer this year though.Rugerfan Thanks this. -
My 22 colorado Wt short bed v6 4x4 crew cab was 44k otd Canadian . I had a 21 corolla i had to trade in but i got what i paid for that minus the taxes . I liked the car but i’ve always been more of a truck type of person so i took advantage of the high trade in values
