My advice, keep your nose clean, LISTEN, ask questions, and stay away from the $hitstirrers that only want to find fault with everything. There is money to be made, medical coverage, and if you stick it out, a pension. It's up to you. Good LuckColorato and bvermillion Thank this.

Whats going on guys, first time posting on here. Im new to car hauling, I just joined Jack Cooper no more than 3 months ago and I love it! I'm out of the mid-atlantic area, and the work is here and it's not going anywhere. I will say it is tough work, but like i tell a lot of new guys ; im smiling every Friday when i get my pay check!

What terminal are you working out of? Who is your TM?
-
I'm at a shop brokedown and I met a Jack cooper driver and he told me he makes $1.20 a mile, obviously I didn't believe him.
He showed me a paycheck of when he worked four days and it was $1700.
He told me they are seriously struggling to get drivers and supposedly hiring right out of CDL school now.
Obviously I'm interested now at that rate lolinterpreter Thanks this. -
Both union car haul companies are hiring. If anyone is seriously interested nows the time.

Im out of Jessup, ex allied systems terminal.
