I don't think anyone would have a complaint about using them in your situation. It's the ijits with the empty flatbed that uses them in the truckstop parking lot, or in a residential neighborhood, at 2AM, or with 8" straights, that have them on constantly, that seem to annoy people.

Most residential neighbourhoods here aren't truck routes.

I fail to see why having your air seat deflated and on the floor somehow makes one a super trucker. I run like that because I'm short, and it's more comfortable.

I slept on the exit shoulder few weeks ago on i77 in WV and I lost the count of how many times I got woken up with jakes and horns.

You forgot about living near train tracks that have been there for 100 years or more.

I'm tall in the torso, but short in the leg (I'm 5'9" when standing, but equivalent to 6'4" when seated, it's so annoying), so I have to run close to the floor if I want to reach the pedals. Which most of the time in my 379, means I don't get any air-ride at all.

    str8t10 and Lepton1 Thank this.

Yeah but I am 6'5" and sleepers are not that all accommodating for the most part. So being a bigger guy sucks too.
