I dont believe that is true. Use as needed...that is what it is there for.
But... we have a local contractor that is stupid about making noise with engine brake. He gases on it just so he can let off to hear engine brake. I believe if it quit working, he wouldnt drive the truck...
Many towns are now banning engine brake use in more populated areas. I blame that on the clowns running around with no mufflers.... thanks alot clowns
