Jake Brake Stage 2 Circuit Fail Open.

    I got the solenoids repaired at the Freightliner dealership in Dallas. They claimed that both of them were "passing oil" ... They also discovered an exhaust leak at the manifold on the passenger side. I asked them to fix it while they had everything off.

    The 2nd tech had no clue what exhaust leak I was talking about. So they didn't touch it. The engine brakes still don't work properly because the compressed exhaust gas is leaking out.

    Repair shops are the devil.

    Did they do a valve adjust as well since they replaced the solenoid? You'll have weak jakes if your valves aren't adjusted properly.
