jake break n cruise control issue

    hi i have 2005 freightliner columiba detriot 60 seriers, i have a problem with my jake break n cruise control... it will stop working while im driving on highway or city..i would have to press my clutch or take out of gear to make it work....or even turn my truck of to make it work...plz help if anyone know about this problem THANK YOU

    sounds like the clutch switch is bad or out of adjustment u might try a bungee cord to pull up the clutch pedel if that works replace or try and and adjust clutch switch

    To clairify, Does you jake just not work when you reach 3 mph above your set cruse speed, or does your cruse just turn off randomly? Do you have eaton vorad or any radar systems?

    It could be a problems with nay of the 3 petals depending on the exact problem. It could be a problem witht he jake or cruise switch to.
