I had more miles and less gross $$ than both you guys, does that mean I win ??
congrats to you both on turning a lemon of a month into a bit of lemonade. I appreciate you sharing, gives me an idea of what is possible.
January was better than I thought it would be...

Had a decent Jan here. 15 loads hauled. Avg length of haul 354 miles. Total miles 5,319 on $13,208 gross "to the truck" or $2.483 per mile. 16% deadhead - 861 deadhead miles - 4,458 loaded only miles. Loaded miles only rate to the truck $2.962
Had a "breakdown" last week that cost me 5 loads - which was $5,152 lost gross to the truck on 1,847 total miles. Feb will be my best month ever. Truck is staged at the shipper and deadhead will be zero percent. Saving big bucks commuting.dannythetrucker Thanks this. -
