Why do you have to start a new thread to ask the same questions? You've already asked about companies in two other thread you've started.

Even if you get your own authority or lease onto a larger company as an O/O, I would suspect a DWI would play havok with the insurance situation. They're bad things to have hanging around if you depend on your drivers license for a living.

k thanks do u kno how good jb hunts o/o program is cuz they told me they didnt care about my record
-
Am I missing something here, a company like JB doesn't care about the driving record of an O/O leasing to them? WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You better check into truck insurance a two year old DUI will be expensive for anyone especially if you don't have any trucking experience. I thought JB only hired experience steering wheel holders these days?
Stay sober or let somebody else drive! -

I doubt very highly they said they don't care if you are leasing onto them. They have about the highest safety rating around.
I think they are saying they don't care about it if you have your own authority and pull their loads for them. But in that case YOU will be paying the insurance and with no experience and a DUI I'd say it's not very likely you will find it or be able to afford it if you do.
And this isn't high school, learn how to writeTankergirl80 Thanks this. -
Does anybody why Stevens does not hire drivers with some time under their belt??

If you go to the JB Hunt Carrier program web page and open up their new carrier profile package that you have to fill out there is a checklist, on page 14 checklist box D states that "Drivers will have no DUI or DWI convictions in the past 5 years or a current charge pending (from the convicition date)" Thats in the packet you have to fill out to be a qualified carrier for them. Thats not for leasing on, its for getting approved to carry their loads under your authority. they absolutely do care. Just go do some digging and reading. If you had another driver working for you that driver could carry for them but if you have had this dui in the last 5 years it looks like you are out of luck according to their own carrier package. -
He has probably has talked to 100 carriers and just can't remember who said what and he just thinks it was JB.
I know a flatbed outfit that might take you as an O/O. He mostly hauls scrap cars to the steel mills, runs at night, equipment is junk, safety rating is bad, drivers look like they are homeless, holds safety meetings at the bar across the street from his shop, pay sucks but it might be a start and he probably won't care about anything except that you can breath and truck hard.
