JB Hunt carhauling?

JB seems to be on a roll lately. I wouldn't be surprised if they did their homework, got their act together and brought their A game to the table on this one.

 

I got an idea!! Maybe you could call him and get all of us experienced guys a job training!! We could demand $150k a year just working 8 hours a day teaching in an air conditioned/ heated warehouse!! As long as we don't have to get in a truck!

 

I would need more than that to move to Arkansas. I bet they would pay a strong $50,000. Maybe...

 

Maybe I will move to Chicago instead. Home every day and gross $125,000. With the $40 grand left after expenses I could probably live on Lake Shore Dr in a high rise condo! Lol

 

That's A game stuff there for sure!!!

 

Would be interesting to see how they'd get me home every day from Chicago, considering that I live in the Scranton, PA market...

 

Oh I can laugh at this because I don’t think J.B. will be taking over the car hauling market in my career as my years are numbered. They also are going to have a hard time getting people who want to work this hard for peanuts as good paying companies can’t get enough help. There is always going to be a segment of nearly every line of work that some people are doing great and some people that are scraping the bottom. My bet is that whatever car haulers they do get to work for J.B. wages, will be worth exactly what they pay. Experienced carhaulers won’t be working for bottom of the barrel wages. The manufacturers realize that you get what you pay for. If you want to pay $20 an hour for a carhauler you will get a $20 an hour carhauler.

 

Well they would be paying you $125,000 gross a year. They would expect you to hustle and get it done!

 

$125 a yr. Gross. Wow! Do they allow pets? Can I train my wife? My credit is a little whack. Will I qualify for a lease purchase? Do they hire felons? Will my dui's be ok? So many questions I have but no phone number to call their recruiting department.

 

They're already paying me $1k / day to run a dedicated van for them. That would be a pay cut!
