JB hunt chicago intermodal

maybe come #### close if you only take a 34hr reset each week...i take 48-56hrs off and im 850-900 with 100$ ins coming out..no insurance id say yes but then again its how much hometime you take. Also set your etas correct and you will never wait for a load...

 

Looks like JB's Chicago Intermodal is a good one then?? My husband was just offered a spot and is set to go to orientation on the 29th I believe. The pay and hometime seem great. Anyone have any feedback on their equipment? Crazy thing is my hubby is only 6 months in with his current company and they are all automatic trans. I have heard JB is all manual? I guess iits a good thing for experience though. Anyone ever worked this particular spot?? THANKS =)

 

Sounds good J, how long have you been with them? Ive always kept the left door shut and rolled, but have been around enough to know co's promise you the world....just wanted to here the actual side. Appreciate it. They wanted me to do Mis, Minn, Ia, was suppoed to start Oct 8th but pushed them back because Im due an 800 bonus check the end of month.

 

I ran Chicago intermodal for JB Hunt from 4/08 to 10/11. Best equipment on the road. 10 speed manual transmissions. I grossed 50k a year. Good benefits. Assigned trucks. Safety training is always a top priority. Always keep dispatch informed of any delays and that will avoid most problems.

 

great equipment, best safety record on the road. manual trucks are better to drive than automatics. good luck to your husband
