Tips: don't hit anything.
You lucked out on that local gig from the get go most go otr 1st. The 1st few months just be real careful and get out and look when in doubt in terms of backing up. As long as you don't whack something its a success no matter how many pull ups it took to hit the dockSteel Dragon and 101stAirbrn Thank this. -
Lol. Yea. I plan on being as possible. I was told I was lucky to get a local gig right off the bat. JBH just started a program for new guys. Not sure cause I'm prior military or not. But it's a new program here in PA.

Ahh alright. I know they do a lot of the dcs out of their pittston terminal.
How's their pay breakdown for local if you don't mind sharingSteel Dragon Thanks this. -
50 day salary. .43 cpm. 12 stop pay. I know there was some thing else. But it worked out to be around 1200 and some change. For a local gig and first go at trucking. It seems nice.
Steel Dragon Thanks this. -
Yea I've heard around the 1200 mark as well.
You'll def get to perfect your skills running out of York. Nyc, Philly, balt, and even parts of ct I'd assume.Steel Dragon and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -
Yea. I'm pretty excited about it. My dad was a retired parking lot. Eventually id like to do that myself.
ZhenyaP1991 and Steel Dragon Thank this.
