Well - my husband just quit a good job to go to Hunt. Went to orientation last week and it was a joke. They knocked points off his driving test and backing test "because no one can get that high of a score!" Pay differed at orientation from what recruiter said on the phone (.37 vs .40 cpm)... Recruiter told him he was "rock solid" to go to work at HUNT go ahead and give notice on his current job... He got 1/2 way through orientation and was called out and told by the application investigator that he was a no hire due to not matching HUNT GUIDELINES for employment! Now we are sitting here unemployed before Christmas with no money/food! The few drivers (3) that were hired were told they would have to wait to get trucks, so they were sent home to wait for a truck. Who knows when they will get a truck. They were complaining because they have families and basically no income yet.

My husband has 37 years experience, and is a good, dependable driver who just wants to work. So drivers... don't fall for the JB Hunt diatribe... move on down the road!

    hal380 Thanks this.

That blows. Scares me as am looking for work and in the process of setting up an orientation date (not JBH). Don't want to get there to be sent away for " no hire due to not matching XXXX GUIDELINES for employment".
