I thought about that, but I'm not questioning someone with more than twice my experience. ;)

Only a very small handful stays out that long and is accident free. That was no accident. Just a little mishap.

we had two drivers drive off with the nozzle.
they had to do alot more damage before they got canned.
    things are worse lately.
they really crackin down on us cuz they want mexican trucks with no regulations and they gonna get alot of free passes

It was an accident unless you meant to do it.
No matter how it went down, the bad part is you not noticing it.
    Stuff Happens.
I'll bet the local run is why but I'll asK...what the hell you doin driving for JBH.

the biggest thing EVERYONE including the OP is missing in this is:

How do you complete the fueling transaction without hanging up the nozzle and finishing (pre cleared before next fuel card swipe clears previous transaction) the transaction?

Also...OP stated he can't do his windows while the hose is in the tank? Just standing there with his hands in his pockets "monitoring" the filling of tank?, or BS ing with another driver at the fuel pump.

Sorry....the story as posted isn't "complete" IMHO!

I did ask how I was able to complete the transaction without the nozzle being hung up. I was told they was a safety on the main pump, not the satellite.
While Fueling, I raised the hood, checked my oil, coolant, PS Fluid, Washer fluid and belts. I also cleaned the bugs of the windshield which all took longer than pumping 100 gals of fuel. No BS ing involved!

"accident" has several meanings. The most obvious is if it wasn't on purpose, it was an accident. But Webster says " Law . such a happening resulting in injury that is in no way the fault of the injured person for which compensation or indemnity is legally sought." The part that upsets me is the " Collision-Hit Stationary Object"
As far as driving for JB hunt, I feel I have a very good job that meets the goals I have for my life. I work 5 days a week, home every night. Every Wednesday they let me off by 1230 to pickup my daughter at school (except summer of course). I have excellent benefits and drive good equipment. I average about $1,000 a week and don't have any on the road expenses. I don't touch freight and don't even count freight.

The statement " collision-hit stationary object" on his dac or whatever. Is basically saying he was driving and hit an object

Are we sure it's on the DAC? Don't get me wrong, it probably is but you never know until you request a copy. If it is on there dispute it, explain what happened and perhaps they'll change the titling or remove it.
