An LP is just an indentured servant.He is fired and an O/O has his contract terminated.An LP walks away after this and an O/O drives his truck away,how's this you might ask.Because it's HIS truck.An LP has little or no choice of time off,fueling locations,maint account,load choices,different dispatcher,trk service location,where he can park trk for off time,and the list could just go on and on because he's not an O/O.The LP is just paying a company to have a job.They know how many miles it takes a week for trk pmt and all the other deductions they tack on and the LP gets a chk for $750 and goes whoohoo.Good Grief, Ray Charles could see through this LP deal.

 

and if you think jct is so bad call them and see if they tell you a lie and dont rely o9n what i say call them yourself and tell me what they tell and tell me one bad thing about what they have goign on NOW!!!

Indentured Servant? i wonder what that really means. Indentured servant-"A person under contract to work for another person for a definite period of time, usually without pay..." since you mis used the word i cant aruge with a statement thats already wrong.

yes you cant walk away with the truck hince the term walk away lease you do have say of the maint account its your money if they want let you have any say over it then dont work for them. My friend gets atleast 3500 mi/wk. he had nver had a problem getting home when he wants to. he stays out for a couple months at a time but even still he spneds at least 1 day a month at his house while he's under a load. when not under a load he parks his truck in his drive way when he's under aload he parks it just down the street and they have never said anything about it. and if he;s gunna be home for a while they find a place with in 30 miles for him to drop it. no he doesnt get paid for those mile but they got him home so he can atleast drop the trailer where they want. he fuel where he wants and he can get his truck serviced where he wants. has a matter of fact they called hin and asked why he was getting it serviced on the road. and he told them he didnt like how the shop was doing things and John Christner got down there himself to figure out why the drivers want to go to the shop.

I have seen his pay stubs he makes between 1200- 1500 a wk. solid! when he takes off thats different. you cant be expected to get if you dont work.

 

His "friend" makes a whole dollar a mile and that's god money! ROFLMAO! And at JCT? I heard they did a little bit better than that! makes me want to run out and lease a KW!

Little whipper snapper I've already posted that JCT is one of the FEW lease plans out there that are better than the rest getting an OK from OOIDA!

Your problem is you're still to stupid to realize that your story and BS lines of crapola have run the gauntlet of thinking you know something to out right BS that most of us can read through! If you had 1 mile under your belt you would realize that we've been here for more years than you were a gleam in your daddy's eye and have driven more miles than you will ever see even if you took an airplane!

Now you are saying your BF is getting more than a dollar a mile? Heck sonny boy why don't you just make it a whole buck fifty as you now have after saying for 2 posts a dollar now it more? Just like a child caught in the act, changing the story! But don't bother as I'll contact JCT in the AM and ask! Now FYI. There have been some JCT drivers who didn't make it. No big deal as JCT is actually one of the FEW honest companies out there. BUT on the whole 99.9% of the lease purchase plans out there are out right ripoffs! But you at the beginning of this little childish rant of yours never stated who! But most of the BS you kept sprouting was just waist deep bull as you STILL have no idea the extent of your trucking knowledge even if daddy is a trucker! It won't make you one but you'll be out here with your know it all attitude and put foot in mouth (like in here) and you'll PO the wrong driver off and I'd love to be the fly on the wall when he puts you in the place you need to be!

But as I kept asking you to do, is do the math which apparently you can't do as it's about 4th grade level and pretty simple!

His miles he can do legally using OLD PC Miler 15 and DDL for the hours is 3941 before he needs to reset or go to particle hours driving but you know it all so you know this. I went on line and TODAY'S fuel prices will AVERAGE $2.62 per gallon.

As you know it all you know what your BF's truck payment and other costs are so you tell us what his gross and net is for the week. Now this IS a trick question so lets see how smart you really are. If you can't answer these simple questions please sign off and don't come back till you can do it yourself with out daddy's or your BF's help!

Oh and look up 'walk away lease" you are just a tad bit wrong there, it means you can walk away from the lease at any time, sometimes without any bad reports to the credit boards and no money owed.

Indentured servant is a term we have been using as most of these bottom feeder companies treat the drivers exactly like that with negative pay to piddling $100 or slightly better pay! To me that's being less than a slave! At least slaves had medical, food and clothing and housing given to them by their owners!

And yes I'm an ARSE but I have kids older than him and I go through crapola like this all the time as I know the rest of you do too! But, they have the sense to actually look up something they find out they are wrong on and they know NOT to argue with those who know more than they do!

but like the who posted above you did say that jct is an honest company that all i wanted to prove that there are some good ones out there thats all

 

A company driver can do that. With taxes taken out. Right now freight is slow, but if you think 1200 to the house is good before tax then you really do need remedial math...
