No, when the call comes up it's listed as an 800 number or unavailable, and since the numbers I call to reach my dispatchers or other company related things are 800 numbers, I can't block the 800 numbers. I do now not answer if the call shows number unavailable. Still a pain in the butt though.

original lawyer backed out of the deal. He refered me to another lawyer, whom I didnt really care for.

I contacted Cullen, but he never got back to me. I have a call into a lawyer that specializes in this sort of thing. He said quick settlement is about all he can see right now. JB will just keep hammering people into there orientation classes, and screwing them.

I know the word is really getting out about them. They have screwed thousands of drivers, and they have been reduced to calling old employee's and lying. This is a cycle that CANNOT keep repeating. Its just impossible for them to keep those trucks full.

Meantime, I'm working for a Logistics Brokerage as truck load broker. Money is good, still learning the job. Guess that college paid off, after all. I also have removed JB Hunt from our database. They will never get any of my loads, and I handle a lot.

I read this older thread for the first time today. I HATE JB HUNT even more now. I'm gonna TTT this thread, as I hope it will save more people from the spider web of JB Hunts lies.

Whatever you do, avoid JB Hunt at all cost. They are filthy low life liars, and Craig Harper is the king rat in charge. I'm working on a website dedicated to JB Hunt, in the same fashion as the anti-Werner website "The Big Blue Screw". I already have a buddy working on some photoshop pictures of Harper, and am looking for more accident pictures involving Hunt trucks.

They screwed with the wrong guy.

Turbo you know my hubby's experience with JB Hunt and the lease purchase program and we are living proof that everything you have posted is true. In addition to the truck payments (hubby opted for the older freightliner for a payment of $307.50 per week, they also take out a set escrow amount of $100.00 per week and also $.08 per mile ran that week in maintenance escrow. In addition to that you have expenses for OBC usage, truck insurance premium payment, health insurance, fuel, highway usage tax and fuel usage tax and if you have money put on your comdata card so you can eat when out on the road. Remember all these expenses are deducted from your revenue no matter if you ran 2700 miles or 1700 miles. And from our experiences JB Hunt doesn't break a sweat making sure the I/O's are getting enough miles to meet their expenses. Recuiters dazzle prospects with the fantasy of making big bucks in their lease purchase program. Mahaffey tried to tell me that many drivers brought their trucks last year and about 18 more were due this year. I brought to his attention even if his numbers were correct (and I highly doubt that) I would wager a bet that there where a higher number of people who returned their trucks and told JB Hunt to go punt.
Sorry I got long winded but the mention of this company sets my hairs on the back of my neck on edge......
PS we are still waiting for the return of our escrow monies.

Cool Turbo I hope he is a plant! He can tell Mahaffey for me that I am about ready to give my attorney the go ahead to file suit if our escrow monies is not here in 5 more days. I guess he never heard of a little thing called a laptop and wireless internet service.

Turbo you are not wrong! Not by a long shot. And I have my husbands settlements sheets to prove it.

Also there is a penalty for terminating a lease agreement early. After non stop dogging Mahaffey he agreed to forego the penalty in our case which enabled us to get out of that death trap (financially)
