Good Luck! Chances are that you will be more in the 1800-2200 range!

One man's opinion of doing good is not another's. What is your definition of doing good? I personally do not think a man with a family back home with all the expenses that go with it can not make it on 1800-2200 miles a week. Of course if you don't mind long down times between runs than JBH is a good company to work for. I guess one would never have to worry about running out of hours!

Hi there. I drove for the big JB Hunt back in the late 80's early 90's. They were the only company to give me a chance and i wound up staying for 5 years. Wasn't the greatest i worked for but were not the worst. I did make good money with them. (just shy of 87000) my last full year there.I left for a local job. My brother also worked for them also for about 5 yrs. At that time like i said wasnt bad but wasnt the greatest either.

We were not in the trucking industry until 1999 but am I not correct in saying isn't that before all the new regulations and on duty time changes and HOS changes?

You know, the jb recuiter didnt recruit me. I contacted him. For the record I had the chance to go to lunch with him today. He was very professional and everything he told me has been true so far. He even gave me the numbers of a bunch of drivers he has hired and they all said he was nothing but a straight shootin guy. I have been readin over this thread over and over and you all seem a bit screwed in the head. Ban me if you want but this is a messed up sight.
