The old bait-and-switch routine, which I was once a victim of, was more than enough to convince me of JB Hunt personnel's ineptitude, or perhaps deceitfulness.

Hate is such a strong word. How can I say this without getting banned,I wish I could see her on the side of the road and a steer tire would blow & the cap flys off and hits her upside the head.

Well, Road Hazard, I'm becoming concerned that you are attempting to use this forum as a means to bash people who are diverse, and I'm going on record today, to request that you tone it down a wee bit.

Quite frankly, it appears to be the bulk of your posting content, and I don't really get the point. I'm having trouble swallowing that all the gay and black truckers of the world are out to get you, or get at you, as the case may be.

First of all, I don't understand where you are getting your information from, and even if it were on the mark...so what, and what's your point?

What? People that lie are gay? That's a new one on me.

C'mon. I don't see the relevance to offering input of this nature into all of your posts. I also don't want to see the subject of diversity of any kind hijack the content of the posts that are offered in here. Until you arrived, this has never raised it's ugly head in here.

Look....this is about the third time that you have made references to this subject, and so far, no one has taken a bite on the subject. Please...drop it.

Quite frankly, and this goes for a lot of things that people choose to do in terms of relationships, it is none of your business. People have a right to live their lives as they see fit. Your suspicions and assessments of what people are, or do, in the course of living their private lives, are not really a part of discussion that belongs in this section of the forum.

And, in spite of your personal observations, I've been around this industry a long time, and I don't happen to share your views on the subject, don't see it happening as you maintain it is, and I don't think it is a subject that is on the minds of most people. You are repeating stereotypical comments that can be read more expressively elsewhere in print on the web.

Why bring it into this forum? Why inject it into this section of the forum? It has no place in here.

I guess I'll have to work on my "gaydar", because I don't see this happening in such a widespread manner, as you claim it is. I guess I have lived a privileged existence.

Let me give you something to think about.

I do not recall which institution conducted this research, but there was a case study performed on a group of twelve men, six who expressed no hostility towards the subject of homosexuality, and six who were highly expressive in their prejudice of homosexuals.

All twelve men were fitted with electronic monitoring of the body's responses to sexual stimuli, and were shown images of gay pornography.

The six who were okay with gay's had little or no sexual response to the images shown to them. The six who were adamantly anti-gay, had moderate to high sexual response to the images shown to them. To be pointed on the subject, they were turned on by the images.

In other words, those that are not real secure about their sexuality, or live in fear of that of others, may have issues of their own that need to be addressed. All may not be as it appears to be. I'm truly not trying to offer insult to you, but when people harp on a subject often and repeatedly, it makes people begin to question the motives behind it.

Regardless of anything, this subject does not truly belong in this thread, nor that of any others in this section, and in the future, if you want to discuss the issue, please do so in a separate thread, in the appropriate section of the forum.

Please don't be surprised if others are not as opinionated on the subject as you are. And please don't insult others because they are not, or when they happen to disagree with you on the subject.

    Thanks.

I'm not. I just know when something stinks, and to avoid it for obvious reasons.

Well, let's at least be fair, and assume that you are telling the truth, and that all is exactly as you say it is. You're working in a division of JB Hunt that offers optimal working conditions. You're not working OTR.

Here lies the problem. Complaint after complaint exists out there, of people being lured in to orientation with expectations of a job that offers this same optimal working conditions, only to be told that the job was "filled" in the interim, or worse, that there was a "mistake" made by the recruiter, and the job was not open to begin with, "but, we'll put you on the list, and when another slot opens up, maybe we can get you into it." In the meantime, drivers are shoved in truck, with weeks on the road, and little hometime, sometimes for less pay than what was promised, and they are forced to go to places that they otherwise would not have desired to go. They sit out there and starve for miles. They are miserable, and all because of JB's consistent dedication to one thing.

    They bait and switch.

So...while you have life by the tail, and are blissfully happy with the way you have things, how many drivers are out there, that feel like they have had a ten foot pole shoved where the sun does not shine? Far too many.

This is not made up. These are realistic and often cited situations that real people have reported on that company, and it's unacceptable. It bites the big one, and I for one say, it's time that drivers quit chomping on that fishing lure, and let them see the rewards of their utter deceit, played out time after time. When enough empty truck remain empty each week, they might wake up one day, and suddenly decide to amend their act a little bit.

There've been a few Truckers that have had dolls dressed as people so they could access the express lanes of roads. Works well in 4wheelers too.
How one travels in a truck whether with a doll or a real person is the ones OWN business and can be fun with the lizards as well since they ain't very bright when at all.

I told jbhunt that I had many DUI convictions dating back to '79 and they QUIT calling me. They do not comprehend profanity so I utilized the DUI tactic.

Yep...it belongs here....and it reinforces another shot of just how that company operates.
