Oh, please. Pulling loads across the hills comes with the territory. Sooner or later we all have to do it. The important thing is knowing how to come down that hill without killing yourself.

That would make sense, but as long as the 40,00 didn't put he over his gross or axel weight. He would have rightly been charged with a load refusal or a service failure. I believe that JB Hun's policy is that if you refuse a load without good reason, you can and most likely will be fired. If he had bad breaks he should have called the main shop and explained the situation. They most likely would have told him to pick up the load to prevent a service failure from happening. They then would have relayed the load, and sent him to the nearest shop. I too had some problems with JB Hunt, but maintence or bad equipment wasn't one of them. I hauled heavy loads for JB all the time. They haul a lot of beer, and paper rolls. Both of these type loads came out of plants in Virginia, which required mounting driving. It's just the nature of the beast. -
I heard a story once that they fired a muslim driver for refusing a load of beer. Apparently in Islam you are forbidden to have any contact with alcohol.

If you put misleading information on one of those boards, and state that you represent 30 or 40 companies, and you dont! That is false advertising if not flat out fraud. It may be punishable under the law. In fact if its not against the law it is down-right dishonest. Who would want to work for a company that lies to you right off the bat just to get your phone number. -
i dunno where to begin saying as i know he is banned IF YOUR COMPANY DOES NOT HARASS PEOPLE THEN WHATS THE POINT IN EVEN HAVING A REMOVAL "TEAM" kinda tells you right there they know they do it secondly i had good ole jb calling me a while ago as they put it i was a prime candidate and thats why they called so much i eventaully did go through the removal process which is a joke in itself because they will still call the way i got removed was to tell them that i had 2 duis and i was a felon that worked wonders they have not called since
