Having spent most of my life in the legal trade and not the trucking trade I would say you really should contact a great lawyer and the local labor board at the same time. False statements that effect your employability are a key to your own trucking company. If they cannot produce an accident report from the state written by a sworn peace officer then they are so gonna buy you a truck.

There are many companies out there that will honor ANYONE'S objection to hauling alcohol. If that is an issue with some people, regardless of reason, I'd suggest that it be covered long before one is asked to do it after signing on with a company. Failing that, I say that to refuse to do so after the fact, is a fine reason to fire them.

I have every reason to object to hauling alcohol, but have done it many times, because I understand that my decision to refrain from contributing to the consumption of alcohol isn't going to change a thing.

Religious objections to aspects of one's job are out of control. If a person takes a job, without making inquiries as to whether or not there might be instances of conflict while performing the job, and only raises it when faced with that conflict, then I say kick them out the door and good riddance.

That's exactly the point. They are so desperate for drivers, that they have to cold-call prospects from lists generated by some really sleazy methods, because there is not nearly enough interest in them by drivers, who would normally pick up the phone and call because they WANT to learn more.

It's what makes them the most pathetic company out there, and an illustration to how bad they are.

Does anyone think that any of the decent companies out here has to do this to fill their trucks? No, they do not.

If you sign on with AIM Logistics you KNOW you will be hauling beer, at least in my area thats about all they haul. There is a difference if you go to work for them or a company that hauls beer once in a while.

That guy thetrucker is full of crap the truck only do 62 as of 6 months ago. I ran Weyerhause DCS out of beaverton Oregon it sucked Weyco treats the drivers like trash also. Their yards guys are union and most of them used to be the old Weyco driver before they got cheap and farmed it out. By the way you are not allowed to have a ladder or step ladder or to even get on that flatbed trailer Weyco will write you up for a safety violation. I can say this I was not lied to by my recruiter he just did not tell the whole truth the only people who made the money he promised had been on the account 5 or more years. At orientation in South Gate California the Driver were treated very rudely by the people thought maybe they were trying to root out any hot heads that would treat customers badly if their was an issue wrong they are just jerks. The Ramada in that they had us stay in was no better than a motel six and the little bar/club they fed us in the night we arrived before orientation would not even allow you to where a hat inside the only meal choice was cheeseburger no condiments and a coke. Thank god their was and El Pollo Loco fast food joint across the street as I would not have fed my cat that trash. My recruiters name was Chuck "Big Dawg Planchon" he no longer recruits for JB as I have recieved inquiries from him through email as to whether I was looking for a job. That was after I kicked Jabba the Hunt to the curb. Now months later they keep calling and calling and calling but hey I nice to have someone want to screw you aint it? I have a couple of Horror stories from that account if anyone wants to hear them by the way.

Bright Blessings my friend I hope everything works out well for you. I spent over 6 months without a paycheck after an on the job injery. It's been 2 years now and im still in court. I have wone the first part but have one more to go. Have faith in the Lord he will provide. You made the right decision not going with JB. If your only going to have to be gone for 1 week it is better than 2 or 3.

    Be Blessed Storm Crow
