which company is best? Currently with CRST but getting tired of the whole team driving thing. Can’t move unless you’ve made a love connection with a co driver. Everything just feels so unorganized here at CRST including the dispatchers. JB Hunt is willing to take me right now while under contract. Offering regional route, dedicated after 3 months, and a little more pay. Is JB Hunt a good company????

Never heard much good about CRST. Sadly that can be said for many of them. Saw a Craigslist ad for some guy in the Midwest claiming to pay .61 a mile. Showed a new silver concept truck in his ad.

Texas_hwy_287 and Trucking in Tennessee Thank this.

Look at some of the truck job board pages and groups on Facebook. You would be surprised I’m sure to find out that you can be hired on right now driving solo for 60k plus. Hell you can probably make 80. It won’t be a company you have heard of, but trust me that’s a good thing. Most likely it will either be percentage of gross or 50+ per mile. Very easy right now to find a job. I’d say neither out of the two. And those smaller companies also won’t give a single #### about your contract. They need drivers.

I stuck with crst for 3 months before i left. (Got my license threw them.) I left for JB Hunt. Make the jump. JB Hunt is a good company overall from my 2 years of experience there. Its a large company. Rules dont/womt change for you. Overall JB Hunt wasnt terrible from my experience.

If you've got the experience go to Crete or Heartland. Not ideal companies but the pay is a little better.

Perhaps CRST hasn't pursued you yet?
