You don’t what, bottom line is JB Hunt sucks, it’s just some scumbag company, That takes naïve idiots to drive Their automatic clown freightliners.
I go to the dentist twice a year. No problem.. Now if I went to the doctor and I could not go back to work for a week, yes they would want a note and maybe depending on the note you would go to a company doctor. That is why they are a successful business. They have thousands of drivers and need to enforce policy. If you wanna drive like a caveman and follow your own rules go to CAMEMAN trucking where they have 6 or 7 drivers and the first major accident that one of you has the company goes bankrupt because the owner has 2000 in the company account and the trucks are leased from ryder. I know guys that have been terminated and still want to come back here. I have been at JB for almost 9 years and have no problem leaving for the right job but so far I have enjoyed working here and plan on being here for the near future.
You obviously have a different and nicer dispatcher than what we have here, but, if I were. You, I would read all of the post before making a comment because,You’re obviously the only one making positive comments about JB Hunt, I no, they are not the most impeccable transport company out there, Perhaps you should read more statistics. I did what I had to do, I made a decision which is free to make any United States and went back to my old job and I assure you, I don’t drive like a caveman.
Also you know what I just read your reply a second time and you obviously could tell that you did not read the whole thread go back and read it, then draw conclusion.

Look I’m a guy who looks at both sides of the story, and I do understand his comment. Bait and switching really is not a fair thing. Somebody With children might have only visitation on certain days of the week and just to get that one person to join on with them and then once that person starts working they switch it on him? That’s pretty messed up. Now I’m just using that as an example. A lot of these companies do the bait and switch and they really need to stop.
I have to say, you're right. I've been on the Intermodal side for almost 3 years. I done seen them do good drivers dirty like that.
Newsflash folks, people are jerks. Recruiters lie, dispatch lies, hell your best friend that drives the other truck might be lying about his pay or what run he got. I just try to find out what is true and what is bs. I had the same issue when I went to NFI. The recruiter did not lie to me but they withheld certain information which would have changed my mind. That being said you need to use your best judgment. Don't be fooled like sheep and expect to get paid a wolf's salary.
