    I'm scheduled for orientation in Chicago in a couple week (going Intermodal). Does JBH allow inversters for microwave, tv, etc.? Passengers (my wife envisions spending a few days with me on the roa. We have an 8 pound poodle that would be part of that package. Does JBH have a pet/no pet policy?

    I don't know if they have a pet policy now or not. The do have a riders policy but you probably have to be employed there for a few months as they wouldn't want a new driver getting distracted. If you are going to be doing local work you can forget about the wife and pet.

    There is no waiting period for riders you will be charged 25 dollars for insurance while you have a passenger though . Jb does not want you to install your own inverters however the prostars come equipped with a 1200 watt inverter suplied buy the company I don't think they allow pets at this time .

    Pretty sure pets are ok if you bring your own truck.

    Pretty sure your up and running by now but just for info for others.CSX and Norfolk Southern do not allow passengers in their yards.So even though JB has a passenger policy while running intermodal you cannot utilize it.
