Yes! Finally got my truck! It was a long process and a learning experience! Now we'll see how JBH does! Got a 2016 cascadia with a little under 200000. A little higher mileage than i wanted but praying we made the right choice@

Not even a full year old and 200k miles? Wtf. They ran the #### out of that truck.
-
It's still under warranty and as you know the 2016s came out in 2015, I agree it's a lot of miles for as new as it is but it seems to be a decent truck. I do think it's crazy that they don't offer brand new trucks though.

I want trying to say is a bad truck. Just kinda shocked that it could get that many miles in such a short time. If i remember right, September is the soonest you can get the new model year, so that makes it 200k miles in ten months. Would make me worry you gotta run non stop to make money there.

Congrats and good luck. Im a DCS driver and I'm averaging 2600 miles a week real easy. 135k pace solo so 200 in a team situation could be possible in even 10 months.

This wasn't a jb hunt leased truck. Quality Leasing lasers to a bunch of companies, my wife and i were talking about the miles and decided it had to have been a team. There is no way a single driver could have ran that many alone. We all know is a bad deal as to what you end up paying but for those of us with bad credit for whatever reason it gives us a way to own our own truck. It is definitely a crazy amount to pay but as in our case is our only option and we should still clear twice as much when it's all said and done as we would by driving as a company driver.
We are hopeful but also realistic. I will post updates for drivers considering this option, I'll post the good the bad and the truth! Oh and i didn't feel like you were saying it was a bad truck. The bad part was being told we could get a new truck and that not being an option. -
Soo what do they pay?
-
65% of the load. I have heard some of the guys out here saying their company pays 75% and told myself to remember who they were but add the day wore on I forgot

Let me give some solid advice if any newbies to l/p like me, you want to look at what's there but they bring better trucks in through out the day. Stand by the fence where they bring them in, take a picture of the truck or vin number as they come in and hurry over to area to lock it in them you can take it for a test drive and see what you think. Noone is nice there, they are hardened and don't want to help so you have to do it on your own. Don't just grab a truck, look for what you can be semi happy with! (Pun intended)
