to any senior guys with JBS, i just started here, and its becoming very very frustrating. i ran from hyrum and made 2 drops then got to go home to do a 34 hr restart. i set my pta for 07/07/11 @8am and as of now im still sitting. i have called several times and left messages and sent qualcomm messages too and still here i sit now on day two. missed about 1200 miles in the last 2 days. how do i get in contact with the wonderful fleet managers? if have been told right i believe im on fleet 19 at least that what is written on my comdata envelope. but any help would be of great help. as i said i have called and left voice mails and sent qualcomm messages with nothing in return, so here i sit at home, well i guess it beats sitting at a truckstop.

 

that is scott's fleet....hands down the worse FM at JBS...you need to call Darrin the dispatch supervisor...call after 6 P.M. could also help because then you go to night dispatch and they may be able to help you

that my friend is a long story....and has nothing to do with the new drivers..it was over the pay we recieve and the way we as trainers where being treated...im still a trainer but i will not take any students till after aug. 1st....my son then my daughter will be on my truck till then.

 

Had a fun afternoon! A mile and a half from the chicken plant, a tree had fallen and downed some power lines so the cops were directing traffic through a residential neighborhood!

I asked the cop if she was sure I could make it and she yelled at me I am ordering you to go through there! So as I drive I am dodging mailboxes and oncoming traffic!

I come to the first right turn and I see my only option to avoid taking out a stop sign is to drive through somebody's FRONT YARD!..................lol

FYI, Got a QC message today, as of Aug 1st, we are getting LINE 5 back!

 

On the whole, I like cops. But sometimes, the 10% with obvious dain bramage point THEMSELVES out!

Good news today!! I talked with my trainer on the phone and will be climbing on his truck at 1030 tomorrow for a load going to SoCal via Vegas. He seems like a nice guy and I believe this will be a great training experience. He is from upstate NY and me from far NorCal. Opposite ends of the country. I cant wait to get started.

 

FYI for anyone in Califorina, the 405 will be shut down from July 15-18. a 10 mile streach. Mohollow (sp) bridge replacemeent and road work. Check with cdot there for other info. The news is calling it Carmagedion
