I have done alot of Walmarts, you CANT be early! Most of them kick you out when your done but I have been to a few that have parking just outside of the gate.

The wally world in Los Lunas, NM defies all description. Dinky ### little town, that is very, I repeat, VERY UNFRIENDLY, to truckers. The idiot company I was with at the time, changed my appt time to later, than was originally scheduled. (stupid weekend planners that can't pull their head out of their a..) Wally world let me in 6 hrs early BUT didn't unload till the appt time.

As I walk around in a truck stop I notice that most of the reefer units are quieter then ours. I then realized that almost all of our units (new and old) have the bottom cover removed. Most other companies have their's intact. I would assume that is why they are not as loud. Anyone know why our shop removes these covers?

A few... that's why you really need to have a plan for where you're going to go when you arrive, and once your done. If there is some parking outside the gate - that's great.

Oh yeah... make sure you have the Wallyworld "Confirmation Number" from dispatch. It won't be on your bills, and will make life immeasurably smoother when you check in.

The north platte dc is pretty good barring any problems with your load you should be in and out in under 2 hrs and be able to fine a spot at the truckstop.

There is a casino with truck parking just an exit or two away from the DC in Las Lunas. They used to have a parking lot outside the DC, but too many pee bottles thrown on the ground got it fenced off.
