Nope I quit driving 3 years ago almost to be a stay at home mom with my and hubbys darlin daughter. She was a later in life SURPRISE. I will go back part time when she goes to school OR maybe sooner if he comes home to run local. We do not want her in daycare and the school she is on the waiting list for kindergarten is a charter with no bussing.

Doubt I will ever see a need for a reset again....course I never really worked anywhere that followed that except on paper KWIM? I have never used a qual-com...YUK. I have always worked at places that gave me the oposite issues you guys are dealing with. I always had to run run run but made a great living for sure.

Hubby is a driver/trainer at JBS has been for 2 years now. :)

BTW i could NEVER work in the office LOL ANY office.

Ya I'm in OKC Still a little weary about the smaller companies. My blood pressure would always go up when the fuel card didn't work, and I had to use the other fuel card, or wait for them to put money on the card.

My days of throw away logs are over. Just not worth it any more. I'm a getter done type a guy and these electronic logs keep me in line. It wasn't nothing for me to pick up a load in cactus going to seabrook, NJ or brooklyn NY and be there in 2 days in my large coronado car that couldn't pull a hill worth a dang and only went 60mph.

Well guess i'll go nite nite and wait for the driver to take this load so I can go sit in plainwell untill sunday night to pick up my next load. Boy oh boy this is getting old. Smh

Thanks you are very sweet to say. We keep hoping that it would just get back to what it was when hubby started. When he first started here we thought we had died and gone to heaven. he came through the house regualry to do his 34 hour reset and then back at it. He never asked for or put in for time off...didn't need to. He was always runing up to his 70. heck he would sometime limp home counting the hours each day he could gain back. His DM was a really nice guy and KNEW how to run trucks.....he isn't there anymore but Hubby still chats with him. So for us it wasn't so much false hope ( at least we thought) but just waiting after every new group that came through for things to settle back in to what they were BUT it seems we have gotten maybe some people who like to change things and mess with things just to say they changed it even though it really doesn't help and in some cases makes it worse.

We want nothing more than to see JBS suceed and be the place drivers BEG to come to and having had the experience we have had between us and seeing what a great place this could be to work for it is extremely friustrating and sad. What do you say when a driver tells you he isn't making much more than minimum wage AND hes never home. There is no good reason that a trucking company with their very own product to haul and so much of it should be having these issues.

I think its always in everyones best interest to be honest. maybe those who work in the office will see.....maybe they won't care IDK but they sure are not going to figure anything out if everyone is afraid to speak up and be honest. Being honest isn't bashing or whinning its just being honest which IMO is always a good thing!!

I was so excited when I found this thread to have a place to chat with other member of the JBS family and to hear of their experiences and am sorry I digress when others attack anyone for sharing their experiences ...for voicing their concerns or fears. This work is hard enough on our families that I can't tolerate others adding to that.

trust me if we could get these very SERIOUS issues resolved I would be the biggest cheerleader they could find and I will never make up things or exagerate them but the whole reason for this forum is so DRIVERS can get the honest scoop on companies not the recuriters line.
