We tried to buy national beef a few years ago the FTC blocked out it because it would have given JBSUSA 60% of the beef market.....sara lee was broken up and sold in parts last yr.....we we are still tring to buy the meat division.....johnsonville franks and some other products.....I do not know where they are at in it......keep in mind jbscarriers is only 1 division of a international corp. I do know they ended up loaning a ton of money to ntl. Beef to keep them out of bk.....and if they default on that loan we end up with them anyway....I do know what I put here is over so simplified but is a general overview of what we where all talking about

 

Just remember, It's NOT the company, it's the lack of training the planners, dispatchers, and managers... IMHO

 

Just wanted to say that I beat my "OLD" record set just last week or maybe the week before, I don't know, but anyway, BEAT my "OLD" record of 675 miles in 10hours 47mins.

Just ran 687 miles in 10 hours 54 mins LOL!!!!

gotta keep SUPERTRUCKIN!!!

Well after sitting all day waiting for a load they finally sent me a load when I had 3hrs left on my 14.........I was 2 hours away from the shipper, which meant going to Memphis in rush hour, and I had to get my trailer washed out first!...........

I was in full-on panic mode, but then I said to myself........."self, what would that JBS Supertrucker srv dude do?"

Why he would supertruck it to Memphis and GET ER DONE!..........

Well, Old C.W. McCall the god of supertruckers musta been smilin down on me tonight! I made it to the Streakin Beacon and what do I see?...........NO LINE AT ALL!..........

So in true supertrucker fashion I make a bee line for the wash and slide it in there sideways, tires screeching!.............in and out in 5 mins!...........now on to fight rush hour traffic.............SURPRISE..........it was like the red sea parted............nobody in sight!..............they all knew a true supertrucker was comin thru with tha hammer down!

I pull into the shipper and told the man..............."lookie here this is how this is gonna go down ya here me?.............I'm gonna bump that dock right there and your gonna get everybody in here to stop workin on all these other yahoos trucks and get mine done ASAP..............comprende amigo?"

As he stood there cowering in fear from coming face to face with such greatness all he could do was nod and say........"si"

So then I says "one more thing amigo, I got 40 mins left on my 14 so make it snappy!............and when you are done loading me I am gonna pull right over there and go to sleep for 10 hours!"

By this time he was shaking like a Chihuahua and was speechless, so he just nodded as a trickle of pee ran down his leg.


So here I am sleeping at the shipper (LIKE A BOSS!)...........Got her shut down with 2 mins left on my 14!

Just another day in the life of the TRUE JBS SUPERTRUCKER!...........

Hey all! I didn't want to read through the 200+ pages on this carrier, mainly because I'm scrambling trying to research some good companies for my husband. He's with CRST...
Mainly what I'm wondering, do they do lease op? From what I've seen is they look promising, just can't find anything on if they do leases.
