yeah ok,i would'nt trust that.i was with marten and was on home time truck parked in the yard for my 4 days off that was planned 2 months in advance.they sent me a qc message wanting me to take a "quick hot load".i said i could'nt i was only 2 days into my 4 days off.i got a smart assed message back and i said nope i can't do it,been out for 2 months i think i deserve 4 days off now.i had a weird feeling so i took all my important stuff out of the truck that nite.next morning it was gone.they dinged my dac with a unauth location w/o notice.it was complete bs.i was at home on my off time.
im guessing this may have stemmed from a bad truck i was given with all kinds of problems.i did'nt care cause i was able to somewhat drive it.they sent me to 3 of their yards to correct the problem.each one sent me to the next.either way the dac report was bs.but just beware because companies love to ding the dac for some reason.

I feel ya Mcfly but I was just giving my .02 in on it. Besides, JBS will not let him drive the truck without having a new med card that I am guessing that they will approve of from the JBS Doc. So it can not be labeled as a unauthorized location or abandonment of equipment. They know where the truck is at and they also allow tankerman to park the truck there before the check up with the Doc. I just dont see this being anything that can come back on him at all.
As for your DAC I would file a complaint to have that removed. As I also don't see that being your fault either.tankerman1974 Thanks this. -

tankerman,
Did your personal Doctor State that you have to Do the Sleep Test??
I know the JBS Medical Examiner recommended it (This is Using Randy's words it is a Recommendation that the drivers own Personal Doctor will have to make that determination) If your Personal Doctor Says you do not have to do the Sleep TEST do not do it PERIOD. Have him write a letter stating such and send it to Safety as well as HR. Then Safety should clear you to go get a DOT Physical. They will not accept any DOT physical that does not go through their Doctors or approved group...
Which is BS I know but that is the policy as of NOW. -
WE Have a NEW President he will be in the JBS Carriers office full time as of Jan 1.......

Doc holiday
This is how it all went down. The quack in greeley, when I had my physical out there in june. She measured my neck and apparently its too big. So she would only give me a 6 month card. It expires on dec 27 th 2011. I know I waited to long. But also couldn't afford to take time off. So anyways. Fast forward kirsten in greeley says I have to get scheduled to take this sleep study. Ok took a 1/2 day off while out on the road and I found a place in myrtle beach. I schedule it for the 19th of dec. Which jbs kept me out till the 19th that afternoon I get home. I try to relax. But that's impossible. And I have always had a first night home sleep issue. I think its due to not being in the truck. But by the 2nd night all is fine with sleeping at home. So anyways on the 19th I go at 10pm to the sleep center take this stupid *ss study. The next morning they come in and unhook you and your free to go. Then late that afternoon a nurse kind of person calls me and says I tested positive for sleep apnea. So they now want to schedule me for another sleep night so I can sleep with a silly *ss machine. That happens now on the 29th of dec. So then I get a machine. I have to sleep with it for 2 weeks to show compliance. Now that puts me in the middle of january. Then I will have to download the info back to greeley. They will forward to some body in colorado. And once that dr writes off. Then they the safety dept will schedule me for another dot physical. So now I'm looking at the end of january. I have emailed linda, dennis, and darrin. And they all say basically to bad and I have to wait it out. In the meantime I have no money and I'm the only one that was working and bringing in money and now I don't even have that. The sleep test was $2800 bucks. But I gotta pay $300 thanks to having the insurance. But its $300 I don't have. So as I sit here I'm contemplating about filing for unemployment, since I didn't quit and its jbs policy that put me out of work. The people I have emailed I have told them I'm about tp lose my power, have no food, and probably going to homeless soon. But they all don't care. So in the meantime I have about 8 applications out. I can't sit for a month with no money coming into the house. So thanks to jbs's bull crap policies I'm gonna be done. Not sure how they are gonna go about getting there truck but it sits here in my front yard as there wonderful policies have put me out of work. Dennis has me now labled as a unsafe driver because I tested positive for a sleeping issues and that I fall asleep at the wheel. In my 13 almost 14 years of driving I have never ever came close to falling asleep behind the wheel. This is just another way to lose drivers. So from the way it looks my time here at jbs is almost done. Because of jbs's wonderful policies I now had to go and apply to welfare for help. I'm 37 years old and since I have been on my own I have never ever had to get welfare. So yea thanks a lot jbs. Very much appreciated. Thanks a bunch.
