Harley are they gettin u a load to florida or do they usually dh u home?
Im just curious cause im trying to get home by friday for sure and im in south carolina. hoping they are smart enough to not make me sit thursday and dh me friday lol. Tampa is so close

 

good luck getting home ontime we sat for over 24 hours in al. waiting on a load finally got a broker load for fl. they say no more dh to fl. we were only 375 miles from home and the supervisor said NO dh to fl. so hope it works out for you. we will be home tomorrow only 4 days late but home never the less

 

We still can't get an answer on Hubbys need of sleep test or not. He calls every 2 days to safety and gets the same ######## answer. NOT SURE BUT YOU PROBABLY DON'T HAVE TO TAKE IT. She has promised him twice now to have an answer on 2 specific dates by 5 pm and still nothing.

For those who missed it a few pages back he was UNDER supposed guidelines for testing at 33 BMI and 17 neck. DR from Hiram said he was required to take test per JBS. Safety in Greeley says no our number is 35 AND 17 but won't clear him not to take it yet. been over a week and still no clear answer. As a matter of fact she is starting to get really ###### with him because he keeps calling to get an answer. She seems to think he should just sit around and wait for them to pull their heads out of their ##### and HMMMMM maybe make it so if they are changing their rules that he doesn't have time to schedule before his temp medical card is expired. Mind you he is an over 2 yr employee , mentor with perfect record with them.

HEY JBS how about a clear rule as to who needs testing and who doesn't? How about giving EVERYONE the exact same guidance and info??

 

did you husband get a 6 month temporary medical dot card????

i got to take their sleep test the clinic had no opening till 1/31 they were booked solid no cancellations and my card expires 2/29 i suggest that on newbies who are flagged for this test make appts to see clinic right when ins kicks in if possible

 

My Hubby is not a newbie. He has been with the company over 2 yrs and is a trainer. He is being flagged by the DR who claims that his number of 33 BMI and 17 inch means by JBS guidelines he must be tested. YET according to safety the DR is wrong and their cutoff is 35 BMI and 17 inch neck yet they refuse to make it official one way or the other.

 

I got news for them, I'm deadheading home from Alabama! I requested to be home Thursday cause Friday is my birthday, now I am delivering Thursday and if I deadhead home I will be home Friday evening! If they try to make me get home on saturday they are gonna see my redneck side come out!

 

I'm still in school here in California, and because of all this sleep apnea stuff, I'm going to my doctor tomorrow to have her order the sleep test here and get it done before I get to Colorado for my physical and ergo tests. My husband and I have pre-hires with JBS to team drive when I finish with school and the drivers training there. Well, that is unless they come up with some new rule, and I wash out!

you go he was suppose to be home on the 16th and on way to lakeland fl. wont be home til late thursday pm but then he has only been home 1 time on time seems like you florida guys suffer on hometime more than anyone else, and he only gets home every 3 to 4 weeks, doesnt seem like it should be that hard Happy Birthday hope you have a great one.
