The Funny thing that most people do not Realize about the Brazilians coming to Greeley they are already there lol, Wesley Bautista the President of JBSSA, the Parent company of JBS USA, the obvious Parent company of JBS Carriers, Lives in the Denver Area, He is in the Greeley Head Quarters on a Daily Basis.

Mr Jackson who is the President of JBS USA, is the Former President of Pilgrims Pride prior to JBS buying out the Majority of the company and now wholly owning it all, successfully ran Pilgrims. This was until Bo Pilgrim made the decision to sell a Majority of the stock and JBS took over.
Mr Jackson is a well established Businessman until about 60 days ago he was not involved in the operations of JBS Carriers. He is now as well as the Board of Directors.
But it seems that the Operations Management has been able to pull the wool over their eyes to a point.

Now in January JBS USA brings in the new President a Brazilian whom most think is just another guy with little Experience.
Well Rodrigo just happens to Be the Nephew of the founder of JBSSA, The very name on the door of the trucks is his Uncles. Which I find rather amusing as those who should know in Greeley have no clue, Rodrigo is not only a family member but he ran JBS Carriers Brazil, they operate under the name JBS Transportadoras.

So now he is slowly working to make it better but like Marcio before him he is struggling with the difference between American Trucking, our Laws and Regulations.
And in the process the drivers are suffering big time....

I know that there are people who read this as I have been so informed by email recently and honestly do not think there is anything you can do when the truth is coming out. Besides I am no longer an employee and being an American My Second Amendment Right protects the freedom of Speech..

I would not recommend anyone to JBS until they revamp the current Management and focus on driver retention..
They have a lot of potential but until they reorganize and restructure they will not keep drivers around, with the current administration they are not going to have success in the industry their name is already mud...

Doc the last few post you have listed I agree with 100%. I no longer work for JBS as most already now but I still pull a lot and I mean a lot of there product. I have even went to plants and have them pull the load off a JBS trl and load it right onto mine. The office staff in the shipping off are realy upset with JBS Carriers as the loads set for a long time before getting pick up from what they tell me. Also the reason I get when I ask by they are taking it off a JBS trl. As far as I care they can go down hill it will keep me very busy. Did close to 12k miles last month alone. I feel bad for the drivers their at JBS and hope things get better for them soon. But that will not happen with the office staff they have in ops. With you the best of luck Doc. Take care and safe travels.

This is the Email I sent to JBS Carriers.

David,
I am following up our phone call this morning,
I am terminating my employment with JBS Carriers Inc, a subsidiary of JBS USA effective immediately.
I have attempted to contact Operations Manager Darrin Taylor with no avail, the matter in which I attempted to contact him about is relevant to my leaving the JBS Carriers. In December of 2011 Mr. Taylor was Faxed a Notice of Levy from the Internal Revenue Service which was to be forwarded to Human Resources, according to Susan it was and then forwarded to Corporate HR, as Of Feb 19th of 2012 JBS Carriers has not at this time complied with the Levy, therefore the IRS has again contacted me and is seeking further remedy. I am taking care of my part of that, as far as the action that JBS Carriers should have taken that is between the IRS and JBS at this point.
I tried to remedy this before it became an problem of this magnitude, needless to say I am very disappointed at this time with the inaction of the Management within the JBS Carriers organization.
Once again it has proven that they are not concerned with the drivers or any issue's which are not in the drivers control but can and have adversely affected this driver. Not only the problem with the IRS but a serious lack of miles, ineffective planning, and the amount of deadhead one must do to get home on time, and in my case 4 days early.

I am also copying several people who have been following this situation as this is a matter that cannot be overlooked as the ramifications of the inactions of management are not only damning but can cause irreversible damage to the company.

To the Matter of Truck 13404, and Trailer 430039 belonging to JBS Carriers it is secure at my property at this time, I am offering to take it to the JBS Beef Plant in Souderton, PA on March 3rd, if this is acceptable to JBS Carriers and their Management I will drive the equipment to the JBS Beef Plant and Make sure that it is secured.
The Tractor is clean, and in better condition than I received it, the trailer is ready to load at any time.

David,
I am sorry that you have to be in the middle of this as I feel you have always done everything in your power to keep me running and making money. This is beyond your control, and it is sad that I will not be working with you anymore as you are an asset to JBS Carriers, Hopefully they will realize this and take advantage of the potential that you have to help JBS Become a successful company.
It is not as if you ever asked me to do anything that was impossible, you have always been up front even when Becky asked you to call me when I was on home time at Christmas this year to deliver a load so a team could keep moving, and she approved paying me extra money for doing so, even though I never go paid for that, you always made sure that the Company's interest was taking care of.
It has been a pleasure to work under you Sir, and I wish you the best of luck in life Sir.

PTA, PTA, PTA..... set your PTA or you sit. I set my PTA twice on Friday, once when I accepted my load for time off, and again when I got home and went off duty.
Here it is Monday, PTA set for 0800 today, no preplan, no load yet. If I'm still sitting when the kids get off the bus, I'll reset my PTA for tomorrow morning I guess.
Seriously.... how hard is it to dispatch a preplan over the weekend, when you know a driver is coming back out from home time????????????????????????
Think it's obvious, the only thing dedicated, on dedicated, is the drivers.
