I think it is time to get a new thread and get away from Jack & Jill so you all can say what you want without the harassment, so long jack drive your truck and let other talk.

FXDL does the truck have a number that begins with a 2. Most of the trucks that go into the NW are Hyrum trucks. They are regional, and very few JBS drivers even know about this site or even know how to post from their phone. Or just watch and don't say anything. If I had to use the phone I wouldn't post either. I post from a lap top, and trying to use the phone with my sausage fingers is like pulling teeth. So Yes I'm sure you will run across a lot of JBS drivers and probably very few will know what a thread is. I found this on accident like many others, and some don't even have GPS let alone smart phones.
You are right trash trucker. I hope it works out for the HarleyMan Jax team. I went to the Cypress website and they had a pretty nice looking truck on their page, and the yard from google maps don't look like the junk yard that was described on this forum. So hope it works out, and if not his next opportunity works out. -
I'm a firm believer in the fact that if you keep a clean license that at some point you will ultimately find a good fit in trucking. It's not my goal to be a job hopper, but at the same time it's not my goal to be walked on by a company so I can't fault anyone for trying to find something better because.........eventually they will.
Jack&Jill Logistics, DocRox and Jarhed1964 Thank this. -
That's me as well. I hate orientations, and I'm not sure what the guys who make less then .40cpm make so jumping to other companies who pay more and can get you home is a plus.
My deal is I have seen too many guys get roped into that. We get you home on weekend scam, or you are going to do regional stuff. When I use to listen to ch 19. I would hear arrow drivers say they were on southern regional, but they were always on 287 going to Washington and Oregon. Of course they went under. You never can tell when you just have an angry driver who is just mad at company or genuine guy who got shafted. so its best to look at the options and have discernment, and have a plan B.
Even those who make .40+ a mile. You know what you are can handle and what you can't. I enjoyed the smaller companies, but when they started getting bought out and going under. MY nerves needed more job security. I always wanted to pull for the shipper, and I think this company has more opportunity for me if I decided to go regional or even get on a dedicated account if they stopped using certain carriers. So JBS is my home for now. -

I read all I could on Cypress and the one constant was they WILL get you home every weekend!........They are getting new trucks in but if I have to drive an old truck to get more hometime its worth it!

Another Day and another dollar has been logged in the Books for the Jack&Jill Logistics JBS/Pilgrims Pride Peterbilt. 662 in 10.44 mins with 16min left on the clock.
Yes it has Bump draft. You know I started the day early, but could tell when it was time to start my engine. I'd be visiting my sleeper in a few hours. I have come down with a sinus cold and couldn't sleep well and when I finally did get to sleep. I didn't' want to wake up. But I did and made it the Loves in Odessa, TX home of the Permian Panthers and got sausage mc muffin, sausage burrito, hashbrown, and small mocha frappe. With a windshield wash I was ready to get back on the road.
My eyes were a little tight so I pulled in the Pecos, TX Flying J and got a 2 hr power nap sponsored by power aid. We got back up and was ready to finish off the day.
(Bump Draft) So I hear Jill got some pretty good fuel mileage?
Yes Bump Draft Jill was doing her thing. I forgot how big Texas was, but as soon as we got out of the great State. We got into some clean air in NM and Arizona and she went from a 6.3 to a 7.3. I'm sure after we idle a little get cooled down at the loves in Benson, AZ she may go down a few. We got a lot of mountains ahead of us, but I'm hoping she stay's above 7. We got to get some z's Bump draft. Will talk more when we get to the finish line of the KPac 1500 Hopefully tmrw morning sometime. Maybe we can get her off a day early. I doubt it. I'm just going in early to get a parking spot. But we will see. Race fans you have a great day. The #13434 Jack&Jill JBS/Pilgrims Pride Peterbilt needs some R&R.
