They crush the limestone to make gypsum. Florida back a loooooong time ago was underwater and a coral reef, thats where limestone comes from-u already knew that i imagine.

Jbs sucks , I'm beginning to hate this company. I know I'm a newb and I gotta pay my dews but this company is ridiculous. It would take pages to tell you guys the hell they are putting me through this week. If Harley keeps talking about Tampa loads and Dade city loads I might have to learn how to tarp lol. I'm definately looking for something closer to home even waste management lol. All I know is if this Jbs crap keeps up which I know it will Ill be on my way out before I get my year.

Cypress will hire you with 3 months experience, I wont sugar coat it, flatbedding is hard work! But we have a terminal in Tampa and depending on what fleet they put you on you could be home every night.

I was averaging 1700 miles a week with JBS, my first week solo so far I have 1,100 miles, I am planned for 550 miles tomorrow, and then whatever I run friday back to Jacksonville to get home for the weekend. I was home Mon and Tues, tonight I am in Atlanta, tomorrow night I wont be home but I will be Friday night!

Bottom line, more miles than JBS, and I only spent 2 nights out on the road!

Yep if your running regional flatbed you usually get home a couple nights a week and weekends off at home. You gettin paid by the mile or commision pay? Commision pay usually pays better on short haul.

Got a hell of a safety dept though just ask my hubby Bryain who has been carrying on with Shannon who also lives with her boyfriend. WOW what personal care to the drivers Shannon gives especially the MARRIED ones or should I say the ones that won't be married much longer. Our phone bill has lists of texts and calls with her number BUT only during the day during the week ( you know when she is supposed to be working) because she couldn't when her boyfriend was home. WHAT a pair the two of them are...so much in common...no morals or respect for those they live with.
