You gave me your number for advice and I so want to call you.....I have a phone phobia unfortunately. I really think that Tiger is legit....

I also do not think that bsmoove is a troll. I don't believe that expressing an opinion is trolling. Spamming is trolling. Purposefully saying hateful things to get a reaction, trolling.

I think people on forums have redefined trolling to mean: anything that brings up negative emotions.

Guess what, Tiger brings up negative emotions in my mind because I can't match his success..he's a troll. :)

Facts or data are cold hard truth.

Opinions may or may not be true.

Some are of the opinion that the moon landing was faked. Some have the opinion that it is a better accomplishment to put a man in the ladies restroom than on the moon. Opinions don't help one make an educated decision and opinions are not fact.

As is stated in the title of this thread, and in at least one post, this was ideally going to be fact based; neither emotional nor opinionated.

As for the Prime driver, congrats to you! That goes to show that leases can work out despite what many regurgitate as facts but in reality are simply opinions or hearsay.

Leases come in many forms and one must weigh which option is best for them. Some are front loaded, some are back loaded and others are even across the board. The simple fact is that the lessor is going to get his money. Its like the old commercial,"You can pay me now or you can pay me later." Most honest leases will work out similar in the end. Pick your poison.

What I find funny are the ones claiming you will end up with a used up worthless p.o.s. in the end but then advocated going out and buying a used well maintained truck (a used up worthless p.o.s!). If the truck you leased is new then you know if it was maintained well or not! Also, the out of warranty claims are not totally true as newer trucks feature 7/700k coverage so there would most likely be some coverage left, albeit not much.

Why do some demand that everyone eat vanilla ice cream? I don't want vanilla. If you like your vanilla that's fine but don't tell me I'm an idiot for eating peanut butter and chocolate. I leased; I'm for the most part satisfied with my deal. Notice I said "My Deal", not your deal.

Thanks and you are correct sir. It's better to have leased a truck and laid it off than roll the dice buying a used truck with similar miles from a dealership.
I know one guy who bought a used fleet truck from Lone Mountain Truck sales and about a mile after driving it off the lot, it broke down. They wouldn't even give him his $6k down payment back, switch him to another truck, nor fix the truck on their tab. Now he is trying to seek legal action to recoup his down payment which I think won't do any good.
Also if you do purchase a warranty on a high mileage truck, most don't want to pay for repairs in a timely manner. My truck was at Detroit Diseal a month ago and had a $21000 exhaust job done when I broke down. Luckily my warranty was still intact and I didn't have to drop a single dime for parts or labor. Yet one of those $3500-5000 extended warranties tend to try and dictate to shops what or how to fix. A mechanic there adv me in most cases they won't pay up and drivers have abandoned their trucks at the shop. So they will require a driver to pay and seek reimbursement from the warranty company instead. I'll rather driver new equipment with warranty to back it up than some used and abused truck which will probably eat up all the savings from having a shorter or smaller note.

It's the first I've heard of it, and I'm the General Manager.

If you have the guy's name I'd be happy to look into it, but I doubt you're getting the real story. Lone Mountain guarantees any truck will pass inspection at the shop of the customer's choice. So if someone was on their way to get an inspection done and something happened we would obviously cover that too, free of charge.

Now this guy I believe. No upstanding company is going to risk their reputation over an episode like this.

Let's face it, most driver stories are embellished at the least and flagrant falsehoods at the most. Wait...need to be PC, they are urban ledgends. Like all leases are bad....

Well it's actually on your Facebook page. It's been on their for quite sometime and no response along with some other disgruntled customers. Most fb pages, the company would respond back but on yours there isn't any soooooo, I can't just buy what one claims who they are and what they represent behind a keyboard

You know and I know that's a bunch of b.s you just stated. Clearly you work for them or paid to defend them Oh it's always or most of the time a lie by the driver but never the company who could have sold them a lemon lol. I've heard your defense for so many auto dealers for years lol.
