By the time you pay for your permits, and escorts you will be back to down to half or less. There are $5 loads in reefer(meat from Smithfield,Va and flatbed), mostly short ones and towards the northeast

Give Fed Ex Custom Critical a call. Loved those $10.000 loads from Louisville KY to LA! My wife has an uncle who drives team for them, makes a constant 15 to 20k a week but he stays out for at least a month at a time if not longer.

Since you posted in my thread I figured I would comment.

I took a look at my numbers for checks ONLY with 3500 miles or greater.
    Low: $1,075.08
    Avg: $1,755.27
    Max: $3,029.40
    Number: 31

Would love to see the context of that $800 3500 mile check. There is more that you aren't telling.

And there ladies and gentlemen is another fine example of someone that blames everyone except themselves for failure. Never admit that perhaps they just didn't "Get it."

The reason is simple. You think it's about miles. More miles does not translate into more take home pay. Not with a variable lease it doesn't.

Sounds like your simply had a poor fuel plan. From where and when you bought fuel to the fuel economy you got.

With fixed expenses at around $300/ week and if your claim of 3500 miles a week is true, that means your truck payment was between $595 - $805, depending on the truck your had.

So let's take the high end of $805 + $300 fixed. Total $1105 deductions.

3500 miles @ .90¢ is $3150. Take a low fuel surcharge of 15¢ and that comes to $525.
    Gross is $3675
    Deductions are $1105
    That leaves $2570
That means your were spending $1770 on fuel.
And that means with fuel at an average of $2.14 - $2.20 (@ that surcharge amount) you were buying 800+ gallons in a week. At 3500 miles and 800 gallons, that means you were getting 4.37 MPG. That or you were buying fuel at $3.50/ gallon
That didn't happen. So please tell us how JCT screwed you???

Either you're and bad mouthing someone because of your own failures or you completely lied in your post.

    Which is it?
