Really? I drove for Stevens for quite a while. I learned that the happy vs. unhappy drivers was a 50/50 mix. Instead of using loose leaf logs, I was taught how to properly run 3 logbooks. Where do you think I first learned "creative logging?" I do have lots of good to say about them. I was happy there for the most part. I only had minor problems here and there. But I left more than five years ago. And I've heard that many of the changes WEREN'T for the better...

Here in Houston, TX waiting to get unloaded. My Pre Plan is Houston, TX to Clackamas, OR Pickup today deliver Monday 2291 miles 458 miles a day average, what's so tough about that. So far I have driven over 6700 miles in the last 12 days and had a good nights sleep everyday except 1 day and I ran hard that day because I was not tired and just felt like driving. I drove 830 miles that day but I did it in two shifts that day 715 for 11 hours and the rest after a 10 hour break.
As far as Keith goes I never hear from him, he qcoms me my loads I deliver them and I get a PrePlan and then the load, if you don't want to argue with him just get your load and deliver it without calling him or anyone else. I think they have excellent Macros for communicating. The Challenger and walkinboss Thank this. -
trying to make up for the oversleep time. I have done it, as well as everybody else. So who is to blame???? Why JCT of course, They are trying to get thier loads delivered on time. Yes granted there are times when they ask you to be a little creative, But you can refuse.
I have not yet met a driver here that JCT has begged them to come to work for them. I went there looking for a job just like everyone else. They don't owe me any thing , but compensation for the work I preform. Any one who has a problem with thier employer, should talk to them about it. If the employer does not want to change thier policy, then the employee has 2 choices.
John Christner Trucking is in business for one reason, and that is to make a profit. They hired me to haul thier freight, not to tell them how to make a profit. I am sorry you have lost respect for me and my opinions, I still enjoy yours. I was not picking on you specifficaly, I am just tired of all theese other people that don'yt even work here, critisize this company and thier safety record when they have no idea what they are talking about.
If you are having problems with the DM's trying to get you to run illegle, and you think they have cut your millage for that reason, then take your documentation to John Mallory and get it straightened out. This is a good company to work for, don't walk away without giving them a chance to hear you out.
I am sure you won't respect my opinions any more after reading this, but I will learn to live with it(joking) I will be out of here for THREE WEEKS, into the woods camping with my wife and all my grandkids. I have 2 more stops then I am done. The Challenger, herkyboy and trucker112166 Thank this. -

I'm in Jolly Texas getting ready to take a nap, I plan on Stopping at the Flying J in Limon, CO tomorrow night then the Flying J Friday night in Ogden UT and slide into Boise at the Flying J Saturday morning and take a much needed 34 hr restart until Sunday night then roll over to Clackamas, OR Monday morning. I may change this but that's kinda my schedule as anyone can see this is not hard running as people think shoot it's only about 560 miles a day avg for this load.
if your gonna be near any of those let me know we can have a cup of coffee.

ok, I'm done fuelling at flyingJ's, noticed that when fueling at flyingj get 5.7 mpg, anywhere else - 6.2. I drive 63 mph by the way
