Yes, already applied, and start ornamentation on 6 july. It sucks they did away with the pet policy, but oh well. some people screw it up for everyone, eh?! Never owned a truck, but the way I ran the current job was same as o/o. the actual owner was TOTALLY hands off. He had a stroke, and his wife is a complete #######. She is the reason I am leaving. Checks ALWAYS late, and she gives my wife crap about "well, what do you want me to do about it?" Well, had you written the check on time, and put it in the mail on time, we would not be having the problem. Anyway.....starting all over again! See all of you guys soon

Just keep your left door closed, wheels rolling, don't turn down loads just cuz you don't like it and deliver ontime also manage your expenses well and watch your mpg. You'll do fine if you do all that :)

I am stoked about coming over there.I have read this entire thread and to me it seems......You may run into a few normal trucking issues.......waiting seems common place = extra sleep for me...Lastly if you want this to work for you,you can make it happen.....To all the regular posters who provide good tips thank you!!!!!!:biggrin_25525:

I've only had limited refer experience. I'm qualified to go to jct. Is there a trick to secureing ur load on a multi p/u produce load so no pallets tip over. Had a bad experience with this about 9 years ago. I thought I read in an earlier part of this thread somebody saying they put him with a trainer for a week cause he had limited experience. Have done refer driving off and on for the past ten years driving but the past 6 has been dominated by dry fr8. Want to het back in to refer driving. Just need to k nock the rust off. I can handle the long hrs.

The first one during orientation I believe they pay for. After that the renewals you pay for. They put you on the greyhound.

    LMB is still at JCT.

I see that you have 10 years driving experience. In that case they normally just send you out without a trainer. The ones that needed a trainer were the people that had less than 18 months experience. As far as securing loads we just use load bars. Keep at least three on you so if you have a single pallet you can put two vertically and one horizontally.

    jeffbassell Thanks this.
